Tomorrow’s forecast is sunny and warm – a perfect opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Bommer Canyon in Irvine and get some exercise in the proceess.
The Irvine Ranch Conservancy is sponsoring a moderate-paced, 3-mile hike through Bommer Canyon. in the Irvine Open Space. There are several very steep in inclines, so participants should be in good physical shape.
The hike begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Bommer Canyon Cattle Camp staging area, and last for about two-and-a-half hours.

Hikers will be asked to follow these measures in order to participate:
- Each individual adult must bring with them a signed liability waiver. Minors may be added to the waiver of their respective parent or legal guardian. The form will not be available on site.

- Be registered in advance, no walk-up registration is permitted.
- Arrive with all necessary equipment to keep you safe on the trail, including water, proper attire, and closed-toe footwear, first aid, health needs etc.
- Restrooms will be available, but facilities will not be sanitized for each individual.
- You may be prevented from participating if you do not adhere to the above protocols.
