The OC Auto Show has returned to the Anaheim Convention Center for the first time since 2019, and thousands of attendees will flock to the ACC through Sunday, October 2 to explore hundreds of new cars, trucks, crossovers, SUVs, electric vehicles, exotics and more.

Show-goers are invited to sit behind wheels, inspect engines, and experience new technologies, and test-ride a range of new models.

Two popular attractions at the show are Electric Avenue and the Jeep exhibit.

Electric Avenue gives attendees the opportunity to take a ride in a variety of electric vehicles such as the F-150 Lightning and the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Event-goers were lined up there this afternoon, with most wanting to try out the Lightning electric pick-up.

Jeep is offering test rides in all-new models over a series of climbing obstacles at its “Camp Jeep” test track to demonstrate their off-road capabilities.

There’s a clear emphasis on EVs at the show. Ford, KIA, Hyundai, VW and other car makers are there with a full range of EVs for attendees to touch, feel and sit-in.

The OC Auto Show is projected to have 20,000 attendees and this show is expected to bring $7.7 million in economic impact for the city. Tickets are $15 for an adult (one day), $12 for seniors, military and first responders. Kids 12 and under are free.

The OC Independent is dedicated to providing factual, informative reporting on Orange County government, politics, education and quality of life issues such as homelessness and access to housing. We seek to illuminate aspects of issues, movements and trends that receive little or no attention from more established, mainstream outlets. Our editorial philosophy is grounded in the principles of the American Founding: limited government, federalism, the separation of powers and equality before the law as indispensable to securing our liberties. The opinions and stances articulated in OC Independent editorials flow from those principles, and are grounded in facts.
