The Coast Film & Music Festival is an annual showcase of adventure and documentary films and stories from the mountains to the sea curated to entertain, inform and inspire. This four-day festival brings together a community of creators, change makers, and fans to celebrate adventure, the human spirit, conservation, and the art of story.
The Coast Film Committee selects roughly 70 documentary films from 300+ submissions from around the world by both recognized and rising star filmmakers.
There will be events throughout Laguna Beach during the festival and the main venue is the Festival of Arts, an incredible space with room for a comfortable viewing experience. There will be three theaters; The Forum Theater, a classic red velvet 230 seat theater, that will be used during daytime programs and evenings; The Lounge that has bars, couches, throw pillows and rugs; and the Main Stage, an outdoor theater with 500+ seats, where live music and evening filmmaker showcases happen.
Attendees can view independent outdoor films from around the world, including features, shorts, documentaries, animations, youth, and student films.
The event schedule can be found here, and passes can be purchased online here.
