Orange’s Summer Concerts In The Park Series Kicks Off July 9

Orange’s annual summer series of concerts in the park kick off next Wednesday, July 9.

The concerts take place at the Hart Park bandshell – a classic Mission-style structure built in the 1930s with financial support from the New Deal-era Works Progress Administration. The series is a popular Orange tradition, and is being sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Orange with support from local businesses, including Woody’s Diner, Smoqued California BBQ, 1886 Brewing Co., Finney’s Crafthouse, the Streamliner Lounge, The Kickin’ Crab and Raising Canes.

The bands play from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Hart Park is located at 701 S. Glassell Street in Orange.

The concert line up is as follows:

July 9: Stone Soul (Classic Soul and Motown)

July 16: The Trip (60’s, 70’s, 80’s Rock)

July 23: Ronstadt Revival (Linda Ronstadt tribute)

July 30: The New Romantics (Taylor Swift tribute)

August 6: 90’s Rockshow (90’s Rock)
