Enjoy free admission to Bowers Museum this Saturday as part of the annual Free-for-All event in which more than thirty Southern California museums are participating. While children 12 and under are always admitted free to Bowers, adults ordinarily pay $18.

As part of the event, visitors enjoy free general admission to Bowers’ 9 permanent collection exhibitions and discounted $10 tickets to Asian Comics: Evolution of An Art Form.

No reservations are necessary.

SoCalMuseums organizes the annual event, in which more than thirty museums from Long Beach to Los Angeles to Santa Barbara — presenting art, cultural heritage, film, natural history, and science – open their doors and offer free general admission.

This offer is for general museum admission only and does not apply to specially ticketed exhibitions. Regular parking fees apply at each museum. Consult individual museum websites for hours, directions, and other visitor information.

Who is OC Independent?

The OC Independent is dedicated to providing factual, informative reporting on Orange County government, politics, education and quality of life issues such as homelessness and access to housing. We seek to illuminate aspects of issues, movements and trends that receive little or no attention from more established, mainstream outlets. Our editorial philosophy is grounded in the principles of the American Founding: limited government, federalism, the separation of powers and equality before the law as indispensable to securing our liberties. The opinions and stances articulated in OC Independent editorials flow from those principles, and are grounded in facts.
