The Orange County Transportation Authority is bringing back its OC Fair Express service for the 2025 OC Fair, running from Saturday, July 19, through Sunday, August 17.
The express buses offer a round-trip fare of $4 — just $2 each way — with free rides for youth 18 and under, and discounted fares of $0.75 one-way for seniors. Regular OC Bus passes, including community college passes, are also honored.
Service runs every Saturday and Sunday, with buses departing approximately every 30 minutes from five Orange County transit centers:
• Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC)
• Fullerton Park‑and‑Ride
• Huntington Beach Goldenwest Transportation Center
• Laguna Hills Transportation Center
• Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center.
Buses drop off and pick up directly inside the OC Fairgrounds at the Yellow Gate entrance. Most buses feature air conditioning, free Wi‑Fi, and phone charging outlets. However, passengers must purchase fair admission tickets online and in advance, as tickets are not sold at the venue.
According to OCTA Chair Doug Chaffee, the service “helps thousands of residents and visitors with a convenient, affordable, and stress‑free way to get to one of Orange County’s most beloved summer traditions,” while reducing traffic congestion and supporting air quality efforts.
The 2025 OC Fair, themed “Find Your Happy!”, runs daily from July 18 to August 17, with fair hours varying by day.
